Role Description
The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial and accounting operations across its branches, subsidiaries, and business units, including operations outside Kuwait. The role will ensure accurate financial reporting, effective financial controls, strong cash-flow management, regulatory compliance, and reliable financial information to support senior management and business growth.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee accounting and finance operations across multiple branches and entities.
- * Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- * Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial analysis.
- * Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, inventory, and fixed assets.
- * Review financial performance, profitability, costs, margins, and variances.
- * Oversee intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and consolidation.
- * Ensure compliance with applicable accounting, tax, VAT, and statutory requirements.
- * Coordinate with external auditors, banks, tax consultants, suppliers, and other financial partners.
- * Establish and maintain strong internal controls and financial procedures.
- * Monitor financial risks and recommend corrective and cost-control measures.
- * Oversee finance operations for branches, subsidiaries, and international entities, including the Philippines where applicable.
- * Support motorcycle sales, spare parts, service, honey, food trading, manufacturing, and retail operations through financial analysis and business support.
- * Manage and develop the Finance & Accounting team.
- * Improve financial processes, reporting systems, and ERP workflows.
- * Experience with **Odoo and/or SAP** is preferred.
- * Provide senior management with financial analysis, forecasts, recommendations, and strategic financial advice.
Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent certification is an advantage.
- Minimum 10 years of accounting and finance experience, including at least 6 years in a senior financial management role.
- Experience managing finance operations across multiple branches, subsidiaries, or companies.
- Experience in trading, distribution, manufacturing, retail, automotive, motorcycle, or service industries is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, taxation, internal controls, and financial analysis.
- Experience with ERP systems; Odoo and SAP experience is an advantage.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent English communication skills.
